Posting on Clothed Canines is quick and easy, but for those not familiar with a blogging platform like Wordpress some of the options might nor be familiar, so I put together this quick tutorial.First thing is to make sure you’re logged in by clicking on the login link in the top right menu of the page:

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see the ‘Add a picture!’ option appear in the menu. Click on that, and you’ll be taken to the new posts page. The first thing you’ll want to do here is enter a title for your post:

Next, choose the breed of your dog:

And now to upload your image click on the ‘Choose File’ button located in the upload section about halfway down the page:

Once you select a file, a couple of options will appear; these are already set to the values that work best for the site, so you don’t need to worry about them just click the ‘Upload’ button:

Once you click upload, a whole bunch of stuff starts to happen. Depending on how big your picture is, it may take a while (up to a couple of minutes if the picture is real big, or if you have a slow internet connection). When the upload is finished, you’ll see a thumbnail of the picture along with a couple of other options. Again, these settings are already set to the best options for the site:

Click the send to editor button, and your picture will appear in the post area up above. If you scroll up your page should look something like this:

Click on ‘Submit for Review’ button, and you’re done! Submitted posts should appear on the site in a couple of hours – at most, a day.
